"The Future of Tradition" is an independent project founded by Ha Thuy Hang in 2018. The project is aimed at young people who are interested in the preservation and development of traditional culture and arts. "The Future of Tradition" is sponsored by FAMLAB Fund – Heritage of Future Past – A Cultural Heritage for Inclusive Growth project under British Council in Vietnam.
The project organized the production of the music theater "Hai Nang Nguyet Co" by musician SonX, the work was first premiered in Hanoi New Music Festival (2018), and experimental theater "Gieu Ty Can" (2020).
The project organized the series of 10 presentation, talk and workshop and studio visits with contemporary practice artists and traditional artisans talk in depth about the state of traditional arts in contemporary.
The end of the whole project is a showcase event of works from the project. They are musical, film, installation, video art, dancing, choreography, the contemporary art from or inter-disciplinary works of project participants.
